Child and Youth Empowerment

Star Suthan Subiksham Trust, the social initiative set up by star Enterprises, has several programmes to help underprivileged children and young people of India to realize their potential. This flagship initiative called StarSS Trust school program provides free quality education to children in rural areas, with a special focus on the girl child. Some of the projects include midday meals, setting up libraries and sanitation facilities etc. This program involves not only the welfare of the students, but also the welfare of the parents, teachers and motivate them to develop educated, responsible and self – reliant citizens of tomorrow.
